El Paso City Council to Consider Data Centre Policy Framework and Project Pause

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

The El Paso City Council will discuss a formal data centre policy framework and a temporary pause on new project negotiations at its meeting on February 17. A proposal will direct the city manager to draft the Data Center Policy Framework within 60 days, during which time negotiations for new data centre projects will be suspended.
