ENEA has initiated the first tokenized digital twin for its High Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure, enhancing governance and sustainability. This project encompasses the entire HPC ecosystem, including the CRESCO cluster family (CRESCO6, CRESCO7, CRESCO8), transitioning them into programmable, transparent systems aligned with sustainability goals.

The tokenized digital twin enables real-time monitoring and optimization of performance, energy usage, and environmental impact, transforming the data center into a transparent, accountable, and sustainable digital infrastructure. This initiative serves as a model for Real World Asset tokenization at the infrastructure level, illustrating how organizations can leverage blockchain for efficient management of complex physical assets.
