SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUEL
FedEx has begun using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) at five major U.S. airports, including Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and JFK, starting in late 2025. The initiatives also cover Chicago O'Hare (ORD), Miami International (MIA), and Los Angeles (LAX).
FedEx has contracted various fuel providers for a total of 5 million gallons of SAF across these locations, with DFW being the first U.S. airport to regularly utilize SAF. The company emphasizes the need for increased SAF production to meet growing demand.
