Feuchtwangen has launched a €5 million electrolyzer project in the West II industrial area to produce green hydrogen, marking the region's first facility of its kind. With a capacity of five megawatts, the plant aims to generate up to 650 tons of green hydrogen annually, primarily for the mobility sector, and is expected to begin operations by the end of 2026. The project is managed by H2 Hub nahKRAFT GmbH and aligns with Bavaria's hydrogen strategy.
