Fortaleza has secured R$ 1.1 billion from BNDES for urban infrastructure initiatives, including R$ 250 million dedicated to water security and urban drainage. The Eixão das Águas project will receive R$ 623 million to enhance its capacity, benefiting 4.1 million residents, while R$ 590 million is allocated for a new data center.
