Fortum and Skavsta Logistics and Air Freight have signed a letter of intent to explore the production of hydrogen and electro-sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF) at Stockholm Skavsta Airport. The partners will evaluate the feasibility of production and storage systems on a planned 100,000-square-meter site, aiming to position Skavsta as a clean-energy hub in response to Europe's emissions regulations. No timeline for construction or production capacity has been disclosed.
