The Greensburg City Council approved a 10-year partial tax abatement for a data center proposed by Jumping Bison LLC on 340 acres of recently annexed land. Despite concerns raised by over 40 residents, the council noted that the center would use less than 3% of the city's water treatment capacity and that Jumping Bison LLC would bear all infrastructure costs while adhering to storm water management regulations. The city's electricity supply will remain under the jurisdiction of Hoosier Energy.
