Gujarat Unveils Integrated Renewable Energy Policy Targeting 150 GW by 2035

Gujarat has launched its Integrated Renewable Energy Policy 2025, aiming for over 150 GW of renewable capacity by 2035 and 300 GW by 2047. The state has seen a significant shift to solar energy, with capacity reaching 25,529.4 MW, surpassing wind's 14,820.94 MW.
The policy encompasses diverse technologies, promotes battery energy storage systems, and aims to create 100,000 green jobs. Additionally, a Green Hydrogen Policy sets targets for 30 GW of electrolyser capacity and 3 mmtpa of green hydrogen by 2035.
