HAMR Energy Secures $10 Million from Qantas and Airbus for Low-Carbon Fuel Projects

HAMR Energy has raised $10 million in Series A funding from Qantas, Airbus, and Thyssenkrupp Uhde to develop low-carbon jet fuel and expand its projects in Victoria. The funds will support the Portland Renewable Fuels project, aiming to produce 300,000 tonnes of low-carbon methanol annually. This methanol can be converted into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), addressing decarbonization goals in aviation and shipping.
