Heron Power has secured $140 million in Series B funding to accelerate the production of solid-state transformers designed for data centers and the grid. The funding follows strong customer interest for over 40 gigawatts of transformers.

Led by Andreessen Horowitz's American Dynamism Fund, the investment aims to enhance the company's factory capacity to 40 gigawatts annually by 2027. The solid-state transformers, branded as Heron Link, promise to replace outdated iron-core technology, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
