HIF Global Targets Cost Reduction for $4 Billion Hydrogen Plant in Brazil
SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUELMETHANOLHYDROGEN
HIF Global anticipates significant capital expenditure savings for its $4 billion green-hydrogen plant in Brazil, with plans to secure financing for the first of four modules by mid-2026. Each module will produce 220,000 metric tons of methanol annually using electrolyzers.
The site at Port of Acu has an environmental license for methanol production, and a license for e-sustainable aviation fuel is in progress. HIF Global aims to finalize supply agreements with electricity and carbon dioxide suppliers this year.
