DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
Hochheim plans to build a data center projected to generate €24 million, but construction is delayed until 2028 due to insufficient power capacity. Contracts between the city and the data center operator, Kauri CAB Group, are set for signing.
The facility will utilize waste heat for local heating and is expected to create 40-50 jobs. The initial power supply for the center is scheduled for 2031, with construction planned to start in 2028.
