The Hong Kong Park of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone has officially opened, covering 87 hectares and featuring operational buildings that include wet-laboratory facilities, attracting over 60 enterprises. As part of a larger initiative to enhance innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the park will support key industries such as life sciences and artificial intelligence, with additional infrastructure planned to facilitate cross-border collaboration. Completion of the remaining buildings is expected by 2027, expanding the total area to 2 million square meters.
