I Squared Capital Acquires Zenith Energy Terminal in Portland for Renewable Fuel Transition
I Squared Capital has agreed to acquire 100% of the Zenith Energy Terminal in Portland, Oregon, to support the transition to renewable fuels. The terminal, with a storage capacity of 1.7 million barrels, is a key logistics hub for Renewable Diesel and Sustainable Aviation Fuel on the U.S.
West Coast. It is set to convert all fossil fuel storage to renewable fuel by October 2027, in line with Portland and Oregon's clean fuel policy goals. The terminal is currently the only facility in Oregon with Sustainable Aviation Fuel storage and facilitated PDX's first SAF delivery in September 2025. I Squared plans to move its headquarters to Portland and establish a local management team, emphasizing commitments to local partnerships and sustainable operations.
