The Idaho Advanced Energy Consortium (IAEC) has successfully advanced five projects to Stage II of the U.S. Economic Development Administration's (EDA) funding consideration for the 2025 Regional Technology Innovation Tech Hub Program.

These projects, part of the Intermountain West Nuclear Energy Corridor, aim to modernize fuel management, enhance the nuclear workforce, and scale innovations, with a funding request of approximately $75 million over five years. The EDA will review the Stage II proposal, with funding decisions anticipated in spring 2026.
