IMDEA Networks has bolstered its research in advanced 5G and future 6G technologies through the completion of the ADVANCE-6G, TEST-6G, and INES projects, funded by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the EU's NextGenerationEU. These initiatives established experimental platforms and a new data center in collaboration with Carlos III University of Madrid, positioning IMDEA as a key player in the European 6G research landscape. The projects emphasize real-world validation and the development of intelligent networks for IoT and cyber-physical systems.
