Infineon Technologies anticipates a rise in data center segment revenue from €1.5 billion to €2.5 billion in the next fiscal year, driven by increasing AI technology demand. The company plans to increase investments to approximately €2.7 billion from a previous estimate of €2.2 billion.

The CEO, Jochen Hanebeck, noted that AI solutions are crucial in a weak market. Additionally, Infineon is diversifying through the acquisition of AMS Osram's sensor business for $673 million, expected to contribute €230 million in sales this year.
