Infinera Acquires San Jose Manufacturing Site from Kennedy Wilson for $27 Million

Infinera, a Nokia-owned optical chipmaker, has purchased a manufacturing site at 6373 San Ignacio Avenue in San Jose for $27 million. The building, part of the Valley Oak Technology Center, features an 82,100-square-foot facility for optical chip production.

Infinera relocated its headquarters from Sunnyvale to this site. Nokia acquired Infinera last February for $2.3 billion to enhance its optical networks business.
