Japan's RIKEN has partnered with Argonne National Laboratory, Fujitsu, and Nvidia to develop advanced computing infrastructure for AI and high-performance computing. The collaboration aims to enhance system software for scientific research, emphasizing future computing architectures and autonomous lab workflows, in alignment with the US Genesis Mission. This initiative follows a prior memorandum of understanding between RIKEN and ANL and includes efforts on the FugakuNEXT supercomputer, utilizing Arm core processors and GPU accelerators.
