Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has launched the construction of Nigeria's largest inter-state bus terminal, covering 20 hectares in Chikun Local Government Area. The facility will accommodate over 5,000 vehicles and include advanced traffic management systems, escalators, and a three-star hotel, aiming to alleviate congestion and enhance connectivity while generating thousands of jobs. This project is part of a broader transport reform strategy that includes deploying 100 free CNG buses and developing a Bus Rapid Transit corridor by March 2026.
