Keppel and Aster Assess Development of Sustainable Aviation Fuel Plant in Singapore

SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUEL

Keppel and Aster are evaluating the development of a sustainable aviation fuel plant on Jurong Island, Singapore, with a capacity of up to 100,000 tonnes per year. Utilizing ethanol-to-jet technology, the facility aims to support Singapore's objective of becoming a SAF hub by 2026, in line with the country's mandate for 1% SAF in aviation fuel starting this year and a target of 3%-5% by 2030. Front-End Engineering Design studies will follow a completed feasibility study.
