The King George County Board of Supervisors approved a rezoning request for Green Energy Ventures' data center project, covering 300 acres with 13 buildings. The project will exceed height limits, allowing buildings up to 90 feet.

The board voted 3-2 in favor, despite concerns over power sourcing and environmental regulations. The project includes a $3 million contribution to the county and other commitments for public safety training and equipment. Additionally, the board approved the Powhatan Road Solar Farm project.
