KIOXIA Europe has announced that its 2.5-inch SSDs, including the CM7, CD8P, and CD8 series, have successfully passed compatibility and interoperability tests with the Adaptec SmartRAID 4300 Series RAID Storage Accelerator from Microchip Technology. The SmartRAID 4300 supports up to 32 NVMe SSDs, each connected directly to the CPU via dedicated channels, eliminating the PCIe bottleneck associated with traditional x16 host interfaces.

This architecture enables maximum performance, providing excellent throughput and high IOPS, making it suitable for data-intensive enterprise applications. The collaboration aims to enhance the integration of current and future technologies in next-generation data center infrastructures.
