Korean Domestic Builders Achieve $47.2 Billion in Overseas Construction Orders in 2025

In 2025, South Korean construction firms secured $47.27 billion in overseas orders, the highest figure in 11 years and the first time since 2015 that annual orders exceeded $40 billion. This growth was significantly fueled by an $18.7 billion contract for the Czech Dukovany nuclear power plant, contributing to a 298% increase in European orders year-over-year. Overall, overseas orders rose by 27% from the previous year, with industrial facilities making up 74.6% of total contracts.
