Airbus has received its first order for the H160 helicopter in Australia from Linfox, a privately-owned logistics company. The aircraft will be utilized for passenger transportation missions across Australia, marking Linfox's inaugural purchase with Airbus.

This order follows a four-week demonstration tour in Australia where the H160 completed over 60 flights and covered more than 2,000 kilometers. The successful demo highlights the aircraft's suitability for Australian operational environments and the increasing demand for advanced rotary-wing aircraft in the region.

The H160 is recognized for its technological advancements, operational safety, and efficiency, including an 18% reduction in fuel burn and the capability to use sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). It is designed for multi-role operations, enhancing mission performance and environmental impact.
