Lisbon and Setúbal Ports Invest €750,000 in AI Project and New Data Center
DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
The Ports of Lisbon and Setúbal are investing €750,000 in a technological modernization initiative that includes a €52,000 Artificial Intelligence project and a new €700,000 data center. The AI project will train 70 employees on the Copilot AI tool and develop an AI agent for user support, while the data center is set to begin construction in late 2026. These efforts are part of the Ports 5+ strategy to enhance digitalization and automation.
