The NEOD2 project, utilizing AI and citizen science, aims to enhance detection of near-Earth objects by leveraging Luxembourg's MeluXina supercomputer. It builds on previous efforts to identify meteor signals from radio data, addressing the need for space safety amid increasing satellite and debris presence. The initiative includes collaboration with the Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy and plans to engage public involvement through the Radio Meteor Zoo 2.0 platform.
