Lyten has finalized its acquisition of Northvolt's assets, including plants in Skellefteå and Västerås, valued at $5 billion. The deal is set to create 600 jobs within the next year as battery production resumes. Additionally, EdgeConneX plans to develop a data center on the Skellefteå site, enhancing the region's technological infrastructure.
