Lyten to Launch Battery Production in Skellefteå; EdgeConneX to Establish Data Center

DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE

Lyten has completed the acquisition of Northvolt's Swedish assets and will begin battery production in Skellefteå. Concurrently, EdgeConneX, owned by EQT, will establish a data center on the factory site, marking a significant industrial investment in the municipality. This development is expected to foster an industrial cluster, enhance innovation, and support the green transition in the region.
