Maaden Secures Energy Ministry Approval for Phosphate 4 Feedstock Allocation

AMMONIA

Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden) received approval from the Ministry of Energy on December 16 for feedstock allocation for its Phosphate 4 project. The project aims to produce approximately 1.1 million tons of ammonia and increase output of phosphate and specialty fertilizers by around 2.5 million tons, raising total production capacity to nearly 12 million tons annually. Maaden will initiate engineering studies and obtain additional required approvals.
