Marilyn Data Center in France Utilizes Natural Ventilation for Cooling
DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
The Marilyn data center in Champs-sur-Marne, France, employs natural ventilation for cooling, achieving a maximum internal temperature of 27°C and managing airflow of 200,000 m³ per hour. It features a flywheel to maintain energy during outages and recycles heat for building heating, operating year-round with a power capacity of 1 MW. CELESTE, the telecom operator, plans to build an AI-focused data center by 2026 and another in Switzerland by 2027.
