Massport Unveils 10-Year Strategic Plan for Logan Airport and Regional Growth
The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) has unveiled a draft of its 10-year strategic plan, focusing on upgrades to Logan Airport and regional growth, with community feedback invited before finalization this summer. Key initiatives include renovating the Air Traffic Control Tower at Logan, expanding Worcester Regional Airport services, and pursuing sustainable aviation fuel at Hanscom, with goals of servicing 600,000 annual passengers at Flynn Cruiseport Boston and achieving 200,000 containers at Conley Terminal by 2035. Additionally, Massport aims to generate $100 million in annual revenue through its real estate strategy by attracting Blue Economy companies.
