Governor Mike Braun and Meta Platforms Inc. officials initiated the construction of a $10 billion data center campus in Lebanon, Indiana. The campus will encompass 1,500 acres with 13 buildings, including 10 data centers, creating approximately 300 operational jobs and supporting over 4,000 construction jobs.
Meta's investment aims to enhance local and state tax revenues and support community initiatives, including an annual $1.5 million impact payment to Lebanon. The project is part of a broader strategy to position Indiana as a hub for next-gen technology and AI.
