Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) and Indonesia's Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) have renewed their research collaboration to advance ammonia-based clean power generation, building on previous studies of ammonia combustion for gas turbines.

This partnership aims to enhance the safe use of ammonia as a carbon-free fuel and support Indonesia's decarbonization goals, aligning with the country's target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2060. Their collaboration, which began in 2020, continues to focus on next-generation clean energy solutions.
