Mission Critical Interior Solutions (MCIS) has selected Orangeburg County, South Carolina, for its first operation in the state, with a $7.4 million investment expected to create 49 jobs. The facility, located at 1014 Railroad Ave. in Springfield, will manufacture advanced conveyance systems tailored for data center buildouts.
Operations have commenced, and the investment is anticipated to enhance the local economy and showcase South Carolina's manufacturing capabilities. Gov. Henry McMaster and Orangeburg County Council Chairman Johnnie Wright expressed support for the project, highlighting its potential positive impact on the community.
