The Monroe City Council is partnering with Grow NELA to expand flight options from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Monroe, driven by rising demand from the Meta Data Center and other local projects. Discussions with American Airlines have led to a proposed minimum revenue guarantee to support the new routes, which aim to bolster regional economic development and address infrastructure challenges. Additional plans to enhance flight services from other airports are also being considered.
