A Montour County committee is drafting an ordinance to regulate data centers, reviewing initial drafts and modifications in their third meeting. The proposed ordinance includes sound limits, feasibility studies for water needs, and potential environmental impact assessments, with a 180-day moratorium on data center applications set to expire in May.
