The MSC Emilia, a dual-fuel container ship registered under the Liberian flag, made its inaugural call at DP World San Antonio in Chile as part of the Alpaca service. During its visit, it handled 500 containers and is designed for enhanced environmental efficiency, boasting a 40% reduction in emissions compared to the International Maritime Organization's Tier III baseline. This vessel is the eighth of ten ordered by MSC, each costing approximately USD 120 million.
