Nebius to Invest Billions in Former Bridgestone Plant in Béthune for Giant Data Center

Nebius, a Dutch company, plans to transform the former Bridgestone factory in Béthune, Pas-de-Calais, into a 26,000 m² data center with a maximum capacity of 240 megawatts. The project, supported by Azur Datacenter, aims to be one of Europe's most powerful sites, with operations commencing in July.
The total investment may reach nearly 10 billion euros, with 1.5 billion already allocated for the site's transformation. The first phase will achieve 120 MW by late 2026 and 240 MW by late 2027.
