Nokia and Hypertec have launched the Nibi supercomputing cluster at the University of Waterloo, supporting over 4,000 researchers annually and marking Nokia's first AI-HPC data center networking deployment in North America. Integrated into the SHARCNET high-performance computing environment, the project aims to enhance research in health, climate science, engineering, and AI, while showcasing Canada's capability in developing competitive AI research infrastructure.
