The province of Noord-Holland has granted an exemption for a new data center in Aalsmeer, allowing preparations to proceed. The facility will cover 10,800 square meters and reach a maximum height of 10 meters, despite general limits for new data centers in the region. The project is expected to enhance local road safety and positively impact the energy system by supplying residual heat to nearby companies.
