North Sea Container Line (NCL) has initiated a new weekly containership route starting in Rotterdam and visiting Oslo, Brevik, and Bremerhaven. The route will be serviced by the ammonia-powered vessel Yara Eyde later this year, while MV Tunadal currently operates the route.

Yara is the primary cargo owner, and the Port of Oslo aims for emission-free operations this year. NCL will provide door-to-door solutions for fertilizer deliveries and has secured a tender from ZEMBA for ammonia fuel deployment along the route.
