SYNTHETIC FUELS

The Port of Nanaimo and Seaspan Marine have expanded their liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering operations in response to a growing number of ships adopting LNG as a primary fuel. Seaspan Energy Ltd. has been established to provide ship-to-ship refueling services, while the Port of Nanaimo now offers both LNG shore-to-ship and ship-to-ship services, enhancing its operations and aligning with Canada’s net-zero emissions goals.
