A collaborative research team from POSTECH, KENTECH, and KAIST has enhanced the efficiency of green ammonia production by improving the Li-mediated Nitrogen Reduction Reaction (Li-NRR). By incorporating a positively charged polymer into the electrolyte, they achieved a Faradaic efficiency exceeding 90% and doubled ammonia production rates, aiming to advance the commercialization of carbon-free ammonia. This work, published in *ACS Energy Letters*, addresses the environmental impact of conventional ammonia production methods.
