Prodigy Clean Energy Completes R&D on Transportable Nuclear Power Plants with CAD2.75 Million Funding

Prodigy Clean Energy has successfully completed a two-year R&D project on its Transportable Nuclear Power Plant (TNPP) technology, supported by CAD2.75 million in government funding. Designed for remote deployment, the TNPP will utilize TRISO-fuelled microreactors and aims for licensing and operational readiness in Canada by 2030-2032, with plans for a pilot project in collaboration with a First Nation. The initiative involves partnerships with Kinectrics, Lloyd's Register, and Indigenous Rights Holders.
