La Sociedad de Activos Especiales S.A.S. (SAE) has formally transferred legal possession of two land parcels, totaling 10 hectares, to Central de Inversiones S.A. (CISA) in Santa Marta.

This action, supervised by Dr. Amelia Pérez, occurred on January 25, 2024, as part of the recovery of these lands for strategic projects. CISA will proceed to transfer the land to the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MINCIENCIA) for the development of the Data Center 'El Manantial', which is part of President Gustavo Petro's initiative to establish a national sovereign cloud.

The project aims to enhance technological capabilities in the Caribbean region and generate employment opportunities. The legal transfer has been completed under the supervision of the Notaría Cuarta de Santa Marta, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
