Scala and Engie Launch Latin America's Largest Data Centre Substation in Sao Paulo

Scala Data Centers and Engie Solucoes have launched a dedicated substation for Scala's data centre campus in Barueri, Sao Paulo. The substation is the largest of its kind in Latin America, with a capacity of 560 MVA. The investment for this project exceeded USD 80 million (BRL 425 million), and the first phase was completed in December 2025.
