The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) is providing grants under the National Residential Retrofit Plan 2026 to support homeowners in upgrading energy efficiency, with funding available for attic and wall insulation, windows, and doors. Grants can cover up to two-thirds of insulation costs and approximately one-quarter of total upgrade expenses, with a simple online application process. In the first nine months of the year, nearly 1,300 homes achieved energy upgrades to B2 or better, reflecting a 35% increase from the previous year.
