Sejong City Attracts Eight High-Tech Companies with Rent Support Program
Sejong Special Self-Governing City has attracted eight new companies through its 'High-Tech Company Attraction Rent Support Project,' aimed at revitalizing Sejong Tech Valley. The project, introduced in the second half of this year, provides participating companies with up to 40 million won in rent support over two years and 5 million won for office construction.
Companies can also receive six months of rent-free space through agreements with lessors. Following the initial recruitment announcement in August, 14 companies applied, with eight selected based on industry suitability, technological competitiveness, and job creation potential.
The selected companies are in sectors like future mobility and digital healthcare. This initiative is expected to significantly increase the occupancy rate of promising firms in Tech Valley, which already hosts anchor companies like Rainbow Robotics and Naver Data Center.
