Seligman Investments has launched Seligman Ventures, a $500 million venture capital arm focused on early-stage to pre-IPO investments in AI, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data center hardware. Led by Managing Partner Umesh Padval, the venture aims to connect private investing with public-market research.

The initiative has been operational since November 2025 and has already made four early-stage investments. The firm emphasizes a strategy that spans the technology lifecycle, enhancing diversification and engagement with technology founders.
